Administrator

Experienced Estate Agency Administrator required for Established and sought after, up market Estate Agency in the beautiful town of Totnes in South Devon, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our client is a sought after, professional and up market firm in the South West. They are currently looking for an experienced administrator with a first-class knowledge of general admin and IT. You ideally will have worked in an estate agency or lettings environment before (although not essential) and will have great people skills as you will be dealing with the general public both over the phone and face to face. You will also have great customer facing skills as you will also be dealing with clients whenever required but in a more of an office based position.

Duties will include, advertising, updating social media when required, producing letters and property details, updating the database, producing floor plans, audio typing, registering clients and booking appointments and general coordination of the office and admin. You will also deal with clients face to face and over the phone, booking appointments and supporting the negotiators as required.

You will be of smart appearance, friendly natured and highly organised.


Salary £20,000 depending on experience with hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and one in three / four Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

Property Manager

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established letting and property management agency as a property manager in Plymouth and with salary of up to £22,000 pa.


The role of the Property Manager is as stated below:

General Duties (not limited to)
·General administration, customer services
·Pre-check out inspections, interim inspections, and general maintenance issues
·Carrying out check out inspections, dealing with DPS for deposit releases
·Property management and maintenance
·Ensuring all gas safety certificates are in date and ordering new when existing certificates are due to expire
·Ensuring the branch is fully compliant
·Dealing with landlords and tenants in the case of DPS disputes
·Ensuring the branch is fully compliant with all regulations
·Assisting with day to day management duties including deputising for your Property Manager if necessary
·Dealing with tenancy renewals, rent increases, serving the correct and relevant notices to tenants
·Dealing with all rent arrears
·Any other relevant duties as required

Ideally the client is looking for an experienced property manager but will also consider a lettings administrator seeking a move into property management. You will need to be a car driver with your own car.

Salary in the region of £22,000 for an experienced property manager. 

This role is full time and permanent on a 40 hour week.
