Our client, a sought after New Homes Developer, are looking for a quality individual to join their team as a New Homes Customer Services Head of Department, based in the South Devon area commutable from Torbay / Exeter and the South Hams and with salary of around £35,000 depending on experience.
The Customer Services Head of Department will deliver first class service to our customers throughout the customer service process after they have purchased their property. The Customer Services team requires the ability to deal effectively and efficiently with all customers and be able to manage customers' expectations appropriately with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction from our customers.
This is an extremely important role within the organisation, where you will be managing the team who will be the central point of communication for the customers, ensuring their purchase experience and aftercare is of exceptional standard and quality.
You will be managing the customer service department, dealing with customer issues, problem solving and supporting our site teams. You will be working along other company members looking to make improvements, highlighting reoccurring faults and proactively working to improve the customer experience.
Key Skills And Experience Required :
Experience in a similar managerial role, having worked for a New Homes Developer/ Associated Contractor /Similar Customer base to include social housing. We would also consider candidates from a Trades/Site Management background with extensive post completed Customer Service experience to purchasers.
Exceptional communication skills, the ability to deliver results and strong skills in managing customer expectations. Technical experience within building, fault finding and construction in general is of merit, but knowledge of NHBC warranties and standards is essential.
Able to handle the pressure that may arise when dealing with internal personnel in these circumstances. Ability to build good working relationships and trust at all levels, particularly with Subcontractors. Must be an excellent communicator and able to use own initiative. Must be able to handle a busy office environment, demonstrate time management skills and who can multi task. An excellent product knowledge is essential, enabling correct solutions to be reached with a variety of reportable issues.

Competitive salary in the region of £35,000 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm plus 26 days holiday
