Due to their continued growth and expanding portfolio, they are looking to add to the existing team.  They are flexible on location and have offices in Shropshire and Birmingham. ?This role could be based in either location and they also support hybrid working with a combination of office and home based working available.
 
?They have a wide range of projects across the region including several major Healthcare projects as well as some really exciting commercial projects in and around Birmingham and educational and Residential projects in the surrounding region.
 
?The Ideal Person:
 
An ambitious architect who is keen to flourish in a busy studio. You will have both design and technical skills and a strong eye for detail. A working knowledge of Revit will be an advantage and an interest in passive design and sustainability may also be considered a differentiating factor.
 
?Required Skills & Experience:
 
ARB Registered Architect with no less than 3 years post-qualification experience
Cross sector experience is preferred ideally in healthcare, residential, office, education and retail.
Already utilising Revit on a daily basis is preferable
Job Runner
Proven skills of managing and delivering projects from inception to completion.

A multi award winning  firm are looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technician or Technologist to their team.
This is a permanent role with a competitive salary, which is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
The position has been created as the result of numerous projects being awarded. They are without doubt one of the leading Architectural practices in the area, whilst also having offices Nationally. This well respected multi-disciplinary practice provides a full range of Architectural, design and consultancy services to the built environment. They cover a variety of sectors including Residential, Education, Health, Public sector and Commercial on multi million value projects.

You will be working on a large variety of projects. This would suit someone who is looking for opportunities to develop their skills as well as enhance their existing knowledge within Architecture. Primary Areas of Responsibility
·Preparing technical information used to plan projects
·Preparing plans using computer aided design (CAD) software
·Preparing applications for approval by regulatory bodies
·Developing specifications for construction work
·Offering technical advice to the project team
·Visiting sites to check on progress
·Assessing client requirements
·Designing a project brief and programme of work
·Carrying out risk assessments of design plans
·Assisting to manage contract bids and tenders
·Providing advice to clients and the construction team
·Managing and coordinate the work of the design team
 
 Education + Experience
·Degree or equivalent experience in Architectural Technology
·3+ years of professional experience
·Excellent technical skill gained on a range of projects, ideally with a value from £2m-£10m
·Experience delivering technical packages in the education, commercial or residential sectors
·Strong understanding of the current Building Regulations
·Demonstrate the ability to be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent communication skills.
·Excellent AutoCAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills
·Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit would be highly beneficial
·Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of technical detailing skill along with an understanding of modern methods of construction.
