Summary

 

 This candidate brings over five years of lettings negotiation and administrative experience, and is now looking to re-enter the property industry following maternity leave. Initially seeking a part-time position (three days per week), she’s open to gradually increasing her hours with a view to returning full-time.

Her experience is broad and hands-on, covering:

  • Diary management for viewings and property visits
  • Handling rental enquiries and assessing applicants’ financial suitability against landlord criteria
  • Conducting viewings and progressing successful applicants through the lettings process
  • Completing all pre-tenancy checks including references, Right to Rent, ID verification, guarantor agreements, and land registry checks
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and ensuring all safety documentation is signed and compliant
  • Carrying out pre-move-in inventories and registering deposits
  • Managing email correspondence with tenants, landlords, and the public
  • Conducting first and mid-term inspections, reporting on property condition and addressing issues raised
  • Overseeing utility accounts, including meter readings and resolving billing discrepancies
  • Processing payments and handling general lettings enquiries

She is seeking a salary of £25,000 pro rata, plus commission, and is open to roles across lettings, sales, or property administration. Her approach is thorough, personable, and well-suited to fast-paced environments where attention to detail and tenant care are key.
